In about four hours per week, you can clean any house. Cleaning out other people’s homes is much easier than cleaning up your own. You don’t have to worry about anyone, and everything is private.
You can clean your house as effectively if it isn’t easy to get distracted. These are some cleaning techniques that you can try:
- Establishing a Cleaning Schedule
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Ceiling and Wall Cleaning
- Dusting
- Clean your floors
How to Prioritize Cleaning Needs
Doing chores around the house like laundry and intensive kitchen cleaning should be left to another time. They can distract from your main mission. You can focus on your task while the washing machine or dishwasher runs if you’re efficient.
You can do more with less if you have easy access to all the things you need. You can easily carry your supplies around from one room to the next with a storage caddy or bucket with handles.
How to Deep Clean Your House Quick
You will likely find dusty corners if the house isn’t kept clean.
Cleaning vs. Clearing Clutter
First, you must know that clearing clutter is not the same as cleaning. Often, when cleaning our homes, we do both. However, this is not the best way to clean.
A professional cleaner will expect to pick up the house. If there is stuff left, I will make piles for the homeowner.
Dust Mite Removal
It would help if you cleaned your home more often than spring cleaning. These untouched areas could harbour mites, dust and other irritants, which should be cleaned regularly to maintain your health and well-being.
Dust mites can cause asthma and allergies. Dust mites love to live in soft bedding and fabrics, such as blankets, cushions, carpets, rugs, and carpets. It is therefore important to clean your home every week.
Create a Cleaning Routine
Organization and consistency are key ingredients to maintaining a clean house. You will likely find it takes less time to clean your house if you follow a schedule and clean the whole house every week. You can then catch up on the other tasks you don’t have to do each week.
It might be a good idea to keep a list of these, to avoid forgetting them. Cleaning is one example of such a tasks.
- The inside of the fridge
- Stove
- Oven
- kitchen cabinets
- medicine cabinet
- Light fixtures
- Books on bookshelves
- Behind and under heavy furniture
Get started cleaning the bathrooms.
- It would help if you started by cleaning all the bathrooms simultaneously. Take everything out of the showers and tubs, and then spray the cleaner you prefer on them. Let them soak for a while. The same goes for the toilet bowls. Give the cleaning products a quick scrub with the brush. It is a good idea to bring a trash bag and empty garbage baskets.
- All bedrooms will require clean sheets and pillowcases. Take the sheets off each bed and re-make them. Take all the sheets that are stained to the laundry area.
- Make sure to make your beds before dusting the ceilings. You can avoid dusting under the covers. You may also want to cover the newly made bed with a sheet if the ceiling is dusty.
Walls and Ceilings from Top to Bottom
- You can use your bathroom-cleaner products in the bathrooms. Work on the cobwebs and dust around the ceilings, corners, and door jams. You will work your way down to the baseboards.
Bathrooms cleaned
- Once you have removed all dust and webs, it’s time to clean the bathrooms. After cleaning, rinse off all shampoos and other products and scrub the mirror and sink.
How to Dust Your House
- Now it’s time to dust.
-
- Furniture: Start at the top, and remove all small items from shelves and tables. Use whatever oil or wax to polish wood surfaces.
- Lampshade: Remove any fabric coverings and vacuum the lamp. Please take off the lamp and dust it underneath.
Mop Floors and Vacuum
- Once all dusting has been completed, vacuum. This is how to vacuum:
-
-
- Lamp shades Vacuum the lamp shades, then put them back in their place.
- Furniture: Upholstered furnishings should also be vacuumed every week.
- Corners of the floor: First, use the corner tool to reach the corners and edges of the floor. Next, you can move on to carpeting and rugs.
- Hard floors Clear hard floors. For this job, I use my canister vacuum cleaner. However, if you have an upright vacuum, you might want to sweep.
